Car Hire - The best way experience the Algarve
While most people prefer to make their own car hire arrangements Airport transfer from Faro airport to the villa can be arranged. Costs paid locally.
1-4 passengers 40 Euros approx each way
5-8 passengers 50 Euros approx each way
Driving in Portugal is very easy and quite straightforward. Most of the jouney to the villa is on the motorway and even in summer it takes only 40 minutes.
Driving is on the right side of the road. Except where indicated traffic from the right has priority. Traffic on a roundabout has right of way.
*You must always carry car documents, driving licence and passport.
*Always wear seat belts.
*Children under 13 may not travel in the front seat.
*Do not drink and drive.
Any infringement of these regulations carry heavy on the spot fines.
A car is preferable to gain the most from your holiday. There are many companies offering car hire services with pick up and return from Faro Airport. Many airlines also offer discounted car hire if booked online as well as car parking at your departure airport.
